About Burdock Boutique Our Story In 2018, Darcy & Jessica began their farm journey by purchasing land outside of Dundalk, Ontario. Our original business, Thoel Farms, began by selling equine hay, hatching heritage chickens, and contracting pig barns. We wanted to continue supporting our local community in a larger way. Burdock Box was the next step in our journey along with our hydroponic produce, and farm store. Our future is supporting local and we want to create a shop local community with the same passion. Burdock Box has a love for local and we want to share it with you. Our subscription service supports over 100 from across Ontario.Our journey is beginning to grow with our retail space, Burdock Boutique, and hydroponic leafy greens. Our goal is to offer fresh local foods to our local community and continue to offer more food options grown on our own farm.
